The week ahead promises to be an exciting one! This week marks the start of our Easter celebrations with Shrove (pancake) Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. I can't wait to see what your cherubs come up with for their Lenten promises!
What’s On?
- Our Library day is Monday. Remember to bring in books for changing or renewing. Bags are essential! Even a plastic shopping bag. The Library Bag Challenge is on and we are contenders!
- Homework will be sent home on Monday. It is to be returned the following Monday. Keep up the excellent daily reading up!
- Shrove (pancake) Tuesday. Bring along a gold coin to purchase a pancake. All proceeds go to our CARITAS appeal.
- Ash Wednesday. Prep - Year Two will attend an Ash Wednesday liturgy where a palm ash cross will be placed on each child's forehead. We will make Lenten promises in class on this day.
